Le premier projet d’ Artefatica est une collaboration avec l’artiste montréalaise Emily-Rose Michaud. Nous produirons un livre, un site internet et plusieurs merveilleux produits afin de célébrer le travail d’Emily dans le champ Maguire, qui met en valeur l’utilisation et l’importance des espaces sauvages urbains et fournit aux activistes communautaires et à la ville du matériel et des idées pour une vision future de cet espace. L’équipe est en place et nous travaillons déjà très fort, nous nous rencontrons presque tous les mardi soir, planifiant et faisant émerger le contenu. Nous avons développé les grandes lignes pour du livre:

• Le projet de jardin Roerich : sommaire
• Un espace de vie communautaire : écrits, photos, vidéo, dessins et matériaux d’archive montrant toutes les façons dont la communauté utilise cet espace
• Nous dans le monde : des initiatives similaires localement, nationalement, globalement
• Une vision du futur : quelles sont les possibilités pour cet espace? Préservation? Développement? Décontamination?

Avez-vous une proposition à nous faire? Si oui, s’il-vous-plaît la faire parvenir à Emily. Tous les contenus et productions seront enregistrés sous une licence Creative Commons (Paternité-Partage des Conditions Initiales à l’Identique), permettant ainsi à des créateurs éventuels de retravailler ou de construire à partir de ce matériel.

Artefatica’s first project is a collaboration with Montreal artist Emily-Rose Michaud. We’re producing a book, website, and some wonderful swag to celebrate Emily’s work in the Maguire Meadow, document the many community uses of this wild urban space (a terrain vague), and provide activists and the city with materials and ideas as they plan its future.  The team (more on them to come) is in place and we’ve been hard at work, meeting weekly, planning, pulling together content. We’ve developed the outline for the book:

• The Roerich Garden project: Summary
• This is a living community space: Writing, photos, video, drawings, and archival materials that show all the ways the community uses this space
• Us in the world: Similar initiatives locally, nationally, globally
• A vision for the future: What are the possibilities for this space? Preservation? Development?

Do you have content you’d like to submit? If so, please send it to Emily. All content and outputs will be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license, allowing subsequent creators to remix and build on it.
